Please have your insurance information on hand when calling to schedule a new patient appointment. Our operators will also be glad to update existing patient insurance information if you have had a change since your last appointment.
What Else You Need to Know
Our regular office hours are Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm. The Call center hours are from 8 am – 5 pm.
In the event of a life-threatening medical emergency, call emergency medical services at 911 immediately. DO NOT WAIT! Inform the emergency room staff that you are a patient of Orthopaedic Associates of Manhasset, and they will contact us.
If you have an urgent medical need and need to talk to our doctors after our regular hours, please call our office at (516) 627-8717. A doctor is on-call 24 hours a day. Your call will be returned promptly.
At Orthopaedic Associates of Manhasset, we accept workers’ compensation, Medicare, and most major insurance plans. Please contact your insurance company or you may call our office at (516) 627-8717 to find out if we accept your plan.
If your insurance plan requires you to pay a co-payment, co-insurance, and/or a deductible, you will need to pay at the time of your visit. For your convenience we accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.

Prescriptions and refills for established patients of Orthopaedic Associates of Manhasset are routinely issued during our regular office hours (see above). You can make your request by calling our office at (516) 627-8717.
Refills are generally not issued during the evenings, weekends, or holidays, as the doctors may not have access to all your medical records during those times. It is helpful to anticipate your refill needs to avoid an interruption in your medication therapy.
